The candidate will be responsible for the management, development, and production of two DOI custom applications. In this role, the individual will maintain the system accounts, provide on-going administration support and maintenance of the production environments, write the necessary routines and support the process of moving data between the databases, perform data loading and migration support, update the code, and release new versions of the software. In addition, the individual must be familiar with the pre-development/development lifecycle (creating an Engineering Change Proposal to document the requirements, level of effort, time estimates, etc.), testing, user approval, implementation, user training, and documentation.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Ten (10) years’ experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, Visual Basic, Access, Visual C , or Internet/Intranet development typically in concert with a Microsoft Back Office Environment.

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Minimum Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

  • With a Master’s Degree (in the fields described above); four years general experience of which at least two years shall be specialized experience is required.
