Collaborate on learning and knowledge requirements with Senior Training Specialists, Inter-Service Engineering Agency, Schoolhouse Learning Standards Office, and Navy System-specific Maintenance Technicians.
Assist in organizing, designing and creating lesson plans, trainee guides, slide presentations, and other training aids such as job sheets, reference sheets, and checklists consistent with adult learning theory that effectively conveys key information and achieves learning objectives.
Assist in training, implementation and execution of policies, practices and procedures through various venues, working groups, Integrated Process Team (IPT), independent assessment visit, consultation visits and tailored factory instruction.
Liaises with assigned area(s) of responsibility to ensure training materials, procedures, plans and/or programs reflect Schoolhouse needs and support Navy Fleet Readiness
Proactively collaborates and communicates with appropriate internal/external stakeholders to address project status, results, or impacts.
Be self-motivated, self-starter, reliable to work independently and as a team member and be willing to learn new equipment and systems to develop comprehensive training programs.
Support the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Team with various ad-hoc requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience as Navy Instructor.
Have Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) Qualification.
Knowledge of PADDIE-M (Plan, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation – Maintenance).
Familiarization of Block Learning, Ready Relevant Learning, and Sailor 2025 Initiative.
Experience with Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) II and Task Based Curriculum Development.
Familiarization with Content Planning Module (CPM) and Learning Object Module (LOM).
Familiarization with Navy Education Training Command (NETC) NAVEDTRA 130 – 140 Training Manuals.
Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Designing job/visual aids and training support aides.
Active SECRET Clearance
