Duties & Responsibilities
Manages release of software to Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows Server systems using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Manages deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs using IBM BigFix while adhering to contract SLAs and policies.
Proactively monitor Microsoft SCCM infrastructure, services and health. Mitigate problems when identified.
Maintains SCCM infrastructure including management servers, distribution points, PXE distribution points and client health.
Perform, test, and oversee upgrades to new versions, updates and patches of SCCM as needed.
Supports enterprise workstation and server operating system imaging and deployments.
Develops ad-hoc reports as required from SCCM data sources using SQL Reporting Services.
Notifies clients of application and patch releases while maintaining release management schedules/calendars.
Supports the client by providing Tier 2/3 support to resolve incidents.
Completes standard service requests by creating collections and advertisements for software distribution.
Works with vendors for support with resolving issues and proactively developing new processes to improve O&M activities as related to SCCM.
Must have an active DOD Secret clearance.
5 years of professional experience within Information Technology field
3 years of experience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Experience working with Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 operating systems.
Experience with other System Center products (SCOM, SCSM and Orchestrator) is a plus.
DEA Suitability is highly desired
Knowledge of PowerShell and SQL Server
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field is highly desired.
