Tasks to include kitting, marking and shipping of imagery travel cases. This individual would assist the Logistics Site Manager with oversight and hands-on responsibility/coordination for the kitting operation, including the following of duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Site Manager and Project Control Analyst regarding ordering and scheduling of incoming product inventory

  • Review and accept incoming product shipments against known orders

  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments against outstanding orders

  • Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Prepare finished goods and parts for shipment

  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications and time requirements

  • Coordinate with Site Manager regarding shipping discrepancies (e.g., damaged product, improper quantities, improper products)

  • Control product inventory

  • Identify and report variances against expected inventory levels

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma

  • Experience in Logistics operations and inventory receiving

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Kitting operations experience

  • DoD oriented logistics

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Surge-y/unpredictable workload environment. Potential high-pressure environment to complete and ship kitted cases for customer acceptance in minimum time. Potential heavy lifting.
