Visual Database Developer (ability to obtain SECRET clearance)

Visual Database Developer will develop purpose-built or modified visual databases to support the entire spectrum of ANG simulator requirements including flight simulators, mission simulators and ground based simulators.
Tasks include but may not be limited to:
Developing new visual databases
Evaluating proposed database changes from the field
Debugging existing government provided databases
Integrating and validating database changes
Supporting design reviews and testing and installing database application software.
Advise NGB/A5 and NGB/A3 on the impact of industry developments on ANG programs
Coordinates with the ANG Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC) to support Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) exercises.
Coordinate with other major visual database development efforts and repositories to exchange databases and avoid duplication of development efforts.
Assists NGB with studies of ongoing aircrew training operations in order to evaluate future development efforts.
Minimum of five (5) years as a visual database developer, in either industry or government, on simulator programs.
Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the MetaVR Inc. Virtual Reality Scene Generator software, Open Flight and other standard industry application tool kits.
Ability to obtain active Secret clearance is required for this position.
