Description

Our new Help Desk Technician will provide the following support:

Work under the general supervision of the NEC AMS Fort Sill Site Lead

Provide TIER II support of the Fort Sill mission funded IT Systems

Respond to user requests for technical assistance and trouble tickets using a ticket management system such as BMC Remedy

Provide end-user support for account management, email and file permissions; installs and provides basic support for approved software in a MS Windows network operating environment

Remediate computer systems based on finding through ACAS scans and IAVA's; Applies compliance fixes, patch updates and Group Policy Object (GPO) to ensure systems are safe for the network.

Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to peripheral devices to include scanners and printers.

Qualifications

Enter mandatory and desired qualifications for this position.

Minimum two (2) years current experience providing system administration support with elevated permissions

Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology field

Experience with user requests for technical assistance and trouble tickets using a ticket management system such as BMC Remedy

Experience remediating computer systems based on findings through ACAS scan and IAVA's

Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to peripheral devices to include scanners and printers

Experience managing Active Directory

Security and Microsoft Windows 7 certifications are both required

Tier II support is preferred
