Akima LLC is seeking an experienced Task Order Management/Program Management Office (PMO) Senior Manager to support its central business development organization and operating companies. This position will manage the administration, knowledge management, and coordination of multiple IDIQ/GWAC contract vehicles as part of the Akima, LLC shared services organization. The ideal candidate possesses business development and operational management experience, and demonstrates the ability to handle several complex projects simultaneously while maintain a calm, inclusive, yet confident leadership style.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a Task Order Management Office for the IDIQ/GWAC vehicles.

  • Responsible for facilitating support and fostering relationships with PMO stakeholders to include business units (groups, divisions, etc.), shared service functions (to include capture, proposal, contracts, procurement, HR, Security, etc.)

  • Works in close partnership with the IDIQ/GWAC Program Managers.

  • Coordinate with leadership and others to drive the process for responding to competitive task orders.

  • Ensure there are standard processes for responding and that strategy, growth initiatives, budgets, schedules, compliance, quality and performance requirements are met.

  • Develop an understanding of the IDIQ/Task Order master contracts

  • Participate in the recompetes of IDIQ/GWAC vehicles

  • Support the management of IDIQ/GWACs to ensure no gaps in ability to bid

  • Analyze metrics to assist with vehicle trends and pipeline development.

  • Supports business intelligence and market analysis pertaining to IDIQ/GWAC vehicles

  • Supports qualification, win strategy development, shaping and proposal development activities leading to the successful capture of new business and re-compete opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience (cradle to grave) working with IDIQ/GWAC master contracts, proposals, and task orders.

  • Proven track record leading teams with IDIQ/GWAC task order submittals.

  • Extensive documented success supporting an IDIQ/GWAC center.

  • Proven experience building a viable, new business task order funnel.

  • Excellent business development skills with the ability to easily work across many organizations.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve issues quickly.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated track record of success.

  • Experience in program management and operational experience is required including budget development, staffing, and project management is preferred.

  • Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to secure one.
