The network engineer will support the systems required to providemonitoring, fault isolation, fault recovery, and call escalation for a managedservice from our Secure Network Operations Center (SNOC). The incumbent will be responsible for the operationand maintenance of the servers, appliances, and network devices supportingmanaged services. Additionalresponsibilities include:

  • Installing, troubleshooting, management, and configuration of multivendor Wireless Access Points and management systems.

  • Monitor security, network (wired and wireless) availability.

  • Install and configure new systems and maintenance of existing systems.

  • Initiate and complete IT projects for internal and external initiatives.

  • Continue professional development for company supported products.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technicalskills quickly;

  • SysLog Server experience (Splunk preferred).

  • 3 years of server management support in a multi OS environment

  • 3 years providing help-desk support (Tier I and II).

  • 3 years of experience with Cisco switches and routers. must

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2013/Visio

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MCSA: Windows Server 2012

  • Linux Certification

  • Aruba certifications

  • Cisco certifications

  • EM7 experience

  • VMWARE experience and experience with Aruba (Clearpass and Airwave)

  • Active Secret Clearance.
