Summary

Akima, LLC is looking to hire a creative and driven Creative Solutions Manager to fill a unique and critical position in our Marketing and Communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the tool, teams, vendors, and processes required to develop engaging and professional content in support of external and internal communications efforts. You will manage a full spectrum of projects, from quick-turn content to large-scale, multi-month efforts. Diverse working knowledge and skillset across many creative disciplines and technologies is preferred, as you will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of multimedia, digital, and design projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the range of creative projects required to support external and internal communications efforts. Disciplines and technologies include:

  • Multimedia presentations, including video, audio, graphics, and animation

  • Design (range of Adobe and Microsoft products)

  • Web development

  • Sharepoint development

  • Event planning, presentation, and promotion

  • Writing projects

  • Social media

  • Digital marketing and marketing automation tools

  • Presentations (building compelling presentations for others, coaching on presentation skills, and presenting in front of meetings of all sizes)

  • Developing branding guidelines and objectives that support business objectives, then ensuring adoption and adherence throughout the company

  • Maintaining creative quality and consistency across all projects and deliverables

  • Guiding media and creative agencies, and brand partners, in how to use Akima branding and creative products to deliver the best results

  • Providing input and support into creative concepts for internal and external communications plans

  • Coordinating with external and internal teams to manage expectations, as well as clarify and define project scope, details and deliverables.

  • Interfacing with internal clients to clarify creative concepts, provide guidance and finalize campaign creative.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university

  • Minimum of eight (8) years' communications experience, including two years managing large-scale creative projects in support of marketing efforts

  • Multi-disciplinary content creation capabilities; comfort with a variety of digital communications tools

  • Expertise in email, social media, and content management tools

  • Demonstrated project management experience managing large-scale, multi-month projects with a variety of creative deliverables

  • Ability to manage matrixed, virtual, and external teams to source and deliver quality work

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-performance environment, without sacrificing attention to detail

  • Ability to identify, build, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization

  • Critical thinker who can solve problems while working collaboratively
