Contract Close-Out Administrator to work as a part of a team in the Contract Close-Out Department. Individual is responsible for the close-out of Prime Contracts and Delivery/Task Orders. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, GSA & GWAC contracts and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cradle to Grave working knowledge of various contract types (CR, FFP, IDIQ, T&M, LOE, Award Fee & hybrids)
Strong financial/analytical skills with an understanding of Backlog, Revenue, and Billed verses Paid
Promotes compliance in accordance with the FAR and contract policy and procedures
Successfully communicate across functional areas with team members while setting/managing expectations
Run and analyze Financial Reports through COGNOS to determine if all financial aspects of a contract are ready to be closed out
Establish and maintain hard copy Close-Out files for each new Close-Out request to include Contract Brief, Release of Claims or other required documents
Assist in maintaining the SharePoint Close-Out Database
Experience working for a Small Business and/or an 8(a), ANC is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience required or bachelor’s degree in business or related field plus 4 years of experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Have previously used Cost Point & COGNOS Reporting
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical & critical thinking skills
Ability to follow direction and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work overtime or weekends, as needed to meet deadlines
