Technical Services Engineer (A&P/C12)

Description

ATS provides a full spectrum of air operations support services at numerous Army and Air Force installations, including fuel management, aircraft maintenance, airfield support, ground equipment maintenance, transportation, material management, warehousing and distribution, and procurement services.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A&P (Aircraft & Power Plant) Licensed Fixed Wing Aircraft experience

  • King Air B200 experience at Unit or Intermediate level.

  • Advise and assist in troubleshooting avionics, electrical, and instrument indicating systems.

  • Maintain environmental systems.

  • Maintain aircraft oxygen systems, fire extinguishing systems and aircraft utility systems.

  • Performs aircraft scheduled/unscheduled on and off equipment maintenance.

  • Performs aircraft corrosion control procedures to include wash, wipe down, polish and vacuum.

  • Operate GSE, flight line vehicles and other support equipment as required.

  • Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft logbooks and Army 2408 series forms.

  • Order aircraft/equipment parts.

  • Supervise/assist in aircraft/equipment movement and flight line foreign object prevention walks.

  • Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention and safety at all times.

  • May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.

  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • At least 3 years on US Army C-12 (King Air B200).

  • 3 years PT6A- 42 Hot Section inspection/ replacement experience.

  • 3 years of experience with DA PAM 738-751 and Army 2408 aircraft record forms.

Must have a strong electronic background.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend and reach for extended periods of time.

Must be able to read and understand tech

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
