SUMMARY

ATS, LLC has an immediate an immediate opening for a Lead A&P Certified Mechanic to include Turboprop, Fixed Wing and Digital Avionics experience to support the United States Coast Guard fleet of C27J Spartan Aircraft in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The candidate must be a Subject Matter Expert and have two years of experience working on the C27J with OEM certification or OJT Records. Candidate experience should also include fixed wing, and turbo-prop aircraft on the C130H/J Model Aircraft. Additionally, the candidate must be able to secure and maintain a secret clearance. This is not a deployable position.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • C27 Experience

  • A&P (Aircraft & Power Plant) Licensed

  • Fixed Wing Aircraft experience

  • Turboprop experience

  • Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and modify aircraft.

  • Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.

  • Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action.

  • Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation

  • Devise and implement preventive maintenance programs and keeps performance and maintenance records on equipment.

  • Participate in installation planning phase.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • At least five (5) years of aviation experience.

  • Airframe and Power plant license.

  • Turboprop experience

  • Must have a strong Avionics background.

CLEARANCE:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
