NANA Shareholder Relations Intern



Coordinateactivities for the college support internship program during the summer of 2018within the Shareholder Relations department plus other functions/projects asassigned.


  • Plan and Coordinate all logistics for weekly events, specialprojects and collaboration of workshops with other ANCs for all Anchorageinterns.

  • Lead and facilitate all events.Plan local events for interns.

  • Confer with staff to coordinate details and all logistics.

  • Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation andtransportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, and specialneeds requirements.

  • Create a picture book of all Anchorage interns.

  • Interview all Anchorage interns for podcasts.

  • Administer a Facebook closed group.

  • Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment,transportation, displays, and other event needs.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to determine howfuture events could be improved.

  • Communicate with staff, interns, supervisors andother college students for outreach of events.



  • Mustbe a NANA shareholder. * NANA shareholders own stock in NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. *

  • Mustbe in college or vocational school.

  • * Must have completed one year of postsecondaryeducation. *

  • * Must have great interpersonalskills. *

  • * Must be organized. *

  • * Must have good administrativeskills. *

  • * Must be proficient in MS Office. *

  • * Must have good communicationskills. *

This position would be taskedto support other initiatives/projects as needed.


This position does not havesupervisory responsibilities.


The employee is regularlyrequired to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to standand walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Theemployee may be exposed to outside harsh weather conditions. The noise level inthe work environment is usually quiet. Must be able to extensively travel andwork in non-urban areas using many different means of transportation. Incumbentmust be able to work in less than ideal offices, facilities, or situations.


The position requires reading,detailed work, problem solving, interactions with other companies includingother NANA companies, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal andwritten communication, analytical reasoning, will require the employee in theposition to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and handle constantinterruptions.
