Discovery Paralegal (Must have an active TS/SSBI clearance)



SAVA is seeking a candidate who will provideprofessional, accurate, timely, and reliable support to the customer. Thecandidate will work using a collaborative approach consistent with other teamsto perform legal document reviews and redactions on matters as assigned,following established standards and practices, and using commercial electronicdocument review platforms and tools provided by the customer. The candidatewill analyze and interpret requests from customers; research, locate, andgather material responsive to DMS requests including conducting outreach andinformal interviews to respond to document requests and interrogatories; assistin preparation of declarations and conduct legal privilege reviews usingSymantec Clearwell, Adobe Pro with Redax, or other document review platforms.Candidates willorganize and maintain accurate records of assigned requests. This includeskeeping detailed case notes, utilizing discovery plans, using Microsoft Excelspreadsheets, and entering case information into appropriate databases.



  • Must have an active Top Secret Clearancewith SSBI (TS/SSBI)

  • 2 years oflitigation paralegal experience with trial experience.

  • Successful completion of atleast one year of study at an ABA-accredited law school.

  • 1 years ofprogressively more responsible experience performing privilege and othersubstantive reviews on litigation support projects. Comparable combination ofeducation and experience may be acceptable.

  • 1 years ofprogressively more responsible experience reviewing electronic and papermaterials for privilege on litigation support projects involving paperdocuments and electronic files.

  • Experience using aneDiscovery review platform (e.g., Clearwell, Relativity) to accurately identifyand redact privileged information;

  • Experience researching anddrafting responses to interrogatories;

  • Experience productively communicatingand driving litigation projects forward with clients and/or attorneys.

  • Demonstrated excellent oraland written communication skills

  • Demonstrated excellentcomputer skills in MS Office Suite Products, document review and filemanagement systems, and imaging.
