At the forefront of Interagency communications and operations management, and focused on services for Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness and Response, Ikun specializes in Logistics Management, Mission Systems Support, Software Development and Data Center Management.

Ikun, LLC located in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking experienced warehouse workers for upcoming busy season.

Responsibilities are but no limited to:

As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, the offloading of UPS/FedEx, TL and LTL freight, receiving freight, put away freight, pick freight for export, and load ocean containers. Other duties include cycle counting, physical inventories, safety, and housekeeping.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates MUST have:

  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of our customers and management.

  • Knowledge of, or experience in/with Warehouse Management Systems, consolidation and 3PL operations.

  • The ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.

  • Strong personal drive and pride in workmanship.

  • Management reserves the rights to amend this job description predicated on the business needs.

  • Position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Skills:

  • Strong command of the English language both verbally and written.

  • Basic math

  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Proficient in using a tape measure.

  • Proficient with computers and scanners.

  • Proficient in using a banding machine.

  • Proficient in using a stretch wrap machine.

  • Operate a propane forklift, electric reach machine and electric and manual pallet jack.

  • Operate a Yard Horse/Switcher a plus but not required.

Physical requirements on a regular basis:

  • To lift/carry/push up to 100 pounds,

  • Stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, stoop, crawl, crouch, lean, kneel, climb, sit , or balance.

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Education

  • High School or equivalent

Job Type:

  • Full Time Temporary duration will be from August-December

Hours of Operations:

  • 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, mandatory overtime, including weekends when required.

  • 3-7 Years
