Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Photography duties are performed indoors and outdoors. Some photography events require extended periods of standing, sitting, walking long distances carrying photography equipment, climbing/standing on ladders or platform hydraulic lifts to take photographs. Ability to load and unload heavy photographic gear (35-50 lbs.) to set up on location. Computer duties are generally performed in office setting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of professional photography experience or classroom education required.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.

  • Must be able to speak and understand the English language both verbally and written.

  • Knowledgeable with photography composition, lighting and exposure

  • Understands photojournalism to be able to produce photo feature and/or story

  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge / Lightroom to process and produce photographic products. Must be able to perform basic composition/cropping, color correcting and burning/dodging techniques.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Must be able to work Fulltime (40 hours) plus occasional overtime.

  • Must have valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for transportation

  • Be able to be on job site within 30 minutes

  • Must pass background check (NACLC)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Studio, Location and Alert Photography

  • Customer Service

  • Administrative duties to include any work related training
