Five Rivers seeks an individual with logistics related experience to join an existing team in the position of Field Stock Clerk. The Field Stock clerk provides responsive logistics support to site operational requirements. This person is the liaison between maintenance, Single Base Supply System (SBSS), and the Program Headquarters Network Support Manager. The Field Stock Clerk:

  • Keeps the site commander, station manager, and Network Support Manager informed of all logistics (supply and depot maintenance) activities, PAC interface, emergency requirements, and other matters of mutual interest.

  • Responds to emergency requirements immediately and ensures that required items are not locally available prior to submission of request to SBSS.

  • Assigns priorities for material acquisition consistent with operational requirements.

  • Communicates with the site maintenance organization to interpret and translate maintenance requirements in order to expedite supply items and services.

  • Coordinates on-site depot level maintenance (DLM) logistics requirements, maintains appropriate work center supply point and bench stock levels.

  • Coordinates and manages the movement of government material.

  • Orders, verifies, monitors status, follows MICAP’s and receives assets needed for sites support.

  • Manages supply point assets, bench stocks, CA/CRL accounts, and other materials required for site support.

  • Resolves mission support problems by contacting Customer Service unity representative at SBSS.

  • Serves as the site focal point for the receipt of supply listings, performance of associated actions, and return within established suspense.

  • Participates in the approved testing of new methods for transferring logistics data to and from the sites.

  • Maintains petroleum, oil, and lubricants. Establishes Equipment accounts, PMEL, and other required support with designated host base activities.

  • Performs transportation management office functions and is focal point for material shipment and personnel movement, packs, creates, marks, and labels shipments IAW Government provided directives.

  • Complies with applicable safety and security directives.

  • Performs additional duties as required by the site manager.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience in a logistics related field

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Valid US driver's license

  • Minimum High School Diploma

  • Experience in stock management, inventory control, packaging, and handling requirements.

  • Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English.

  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include: walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead.

Desired Skills:

  • Possess a working knowledge of Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) handling requirements as they apply to packaging and handling of ESD sensitive material.

  • Experience interfacing with military personnel and government customers.

  • Experience using excel spreadsheets.
