TechnologySupport Specialist with a broad knowledge of the technology industry. Workshall involve the strategic coordination and planning, development, design,procurement, installation and construction integration of all technologyelements including, but not limited to voice, data, audio/video, satellite,radio, wireless and electronic security systems.

Thisperson shall serve as the day-to-day Technology Support Specialist, workingwith a large Government agency on a new HQ and GSA to observe and advise onactivities related to, but not all inclusive off, the following:

  • Data and voice,video distribution, electronic security, and other major building technologysystems consolidated requirements, analyses, and reports

  • T echnology design, new technologyresearch (hardware and software), planning and strategizing, migrationplanning, technical specification concepts and review, and procurementstrategies

  • Construction coordination,integration, validation and verification coordination, negotiated services, andlife-cycle cost impacts

  • Sequencing oftechnology-related work with other specialties and disciplines, externalconnectivity and infrastructure services and issues;

  • Industry code andFederal Public Building Service, Federal technology services, base building andbuilding systems design, engineering and interior space coordination;

  • Constructiondocumentation, change order management, and other related work.

The Technology Project Manager shallwork closely with the relocation team and appropriate Govt Program Offices toensure all related systems and services are migrated and supported efficientlyfor both interim moves and final relocation of the agency.

Qualifications

  • Equivalentexperience with Government construction project(s) greater than 500,000 SF insize within the Information Technology discipline.

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree in IT, electrical engineering or computer sciencewith a minimum 10 years of equivalent experience with appropriate professionalcredentials required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or equivalent highlydesired

  • U.S. Federal Governmentproject management experience and working directly with high-end Governmentagency performance technology customers is required.

  • Experience relocating andmigrating major IT systems, and computer rooms is required.

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency integrating many areas of technologyand respective elements in complex, new design and construction projectsgreater than 250,000 SF from infrastructure planning through performanceverification, deployment and commissioning.

  • Abilityto assist, advise and interpret customer requirements is essential.

  • Experiencein documenting issues and resolutions for future matters of the same nature.

  • Knowledgeof technical troubleshooting skills

  • Directexperience with: Audio Visual, IT, Broad Band, Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) systems.

  • Familiarity with GSA Public Buildingrequirements for Information Technology, schedules, Federal AcquisitionRegulations, anda broad vendor base is a plus.
