Akima, LLC has an immediate opening for a IT Sourcerwith a passion for making a difference and a strong desire to grow with us.​ This position is ideally suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who is very passionate about making a difference.You will be responsible the sourcing of entry level to management level positions in the various industries, such as Information Technology and Corporate Administration.


  • Develop strong relationships and partner with Staff Recruiters

  • Work with Senior Recruiters to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.​

  • Regular follow up with the respective recruitersand candidates to ensure timelinessof recruitment process.​

  • Will take positive steps to support and promote the recruitment, retention and development programs for Native Alaskan shareholders

  • Assist in the opening and closing of personnel requisitions

  • Assist with projects, phase in, contract stand up requirements


  • 3 years corporate recruiting/Human Resource experience with a government contractor.

  • Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (Taleoexperience is a plus).

  • Strong understanding and ability to source at all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.​

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.​

  • Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture.​

  • Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment.​

  • Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames.​

  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment life-cycle processes.​

  • Experience with high volume sourcing

  • Working within a team environment

  • Strong work ethic and confidentiality is a must

  • Ability to with minimal supervision and guidance is essential.
