Job Description

Akima, LLC is seeking a dynamic, innovative, Capture Management professional. The Director of Capture Management Services will be responsible for leading large capture initiatives, adhering to the Akima, LLC corporate policies and procedures.

Highlights of Responsibilities

  • Provide critical leadership from the win strategy development through the post submission phases of the New Business Acquisition Process.

  • Develop and implement capture plans and strategies and have a firm comprehension of the customer's requirements.

  • Develop/implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.

  • Motivate and energize a team to produce a winning solution.

  • Develop and implement creative strategies into winning bids; possess excellent written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills; and display a strong sales presence.

  • Explain and possess knowledge of our competitors trends and weaknesses.

  • Develop comprehensive account plans.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

  • Develop creative capture strategies, and assist in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Market analysis, strategic business planning including identification, qualification, and capture, leading to award of major programs.

  • This position will work closely with the appropriate Akima, LLC business programs to provide strategic direction and leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 yrs hands-on experience in Business Development, Program Management and Strategic Capture.

  • Must have been directly involved in recent, quantifiable capture efforts resulting in wins.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret security clearance

Work Environment and Physical Demands General office environment; may occasionally be required to lift up to 20lbs

Travel required up to 20%.
