This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing and supporting opportunities within multiple Akima companies on GWAC opportunities. The analyst provides analysis of task order opportunities to determine if they fit the Akima corporate strategy. He/She participates in determining teaming strategies and price to win analysis. He/She supports all phases of task order responses from inception of proposal delivery. Develops and expands business relationships and helps to identify business expansion. Establishes customer contacts and aids in the development of proposals and marketing presentations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assumes a support role in developing capture plans for task order opportunities; recommends opportunities and teaming partners for pursuit, works with the line organizations to identify ways to effectively respond to customer requirements.
Researches public domain materials to provide business intelligence in support of GWAC and IDIQ vehicles.
Support the development of call plans, relationship mapping, and market analysis.
Supports the development of solutions, white papers, Requests for Information (RFI) responses, account plans, and marketing materials.
Participates in industry groups and conferences to represent and promote the company’s capabilities.
Supports sales reviews.
Supports reporting and analysis of the GWAC pipeline, including development of company business development presentations.
Develops and maintains working relationships with industry competitors, similar and/or complementary companies to include teaming and partnership discussions.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies in order to successfully meet client requirements.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Must have demonstrated ability in Lead Generation.
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Marketing, English, Business, Communications).
Proficient in Microsoft Suite specifically Word and Excel.
Strong research and analysis skills and customer focus.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
Must be able to handle multiple projects with aggressive timelines.
A security clearance of an appropriate level is required after employment.
