Duties & Responsibilities
Help develop/update training plans as required within the operational environment by comparing the job series training plans with existing Personal Development Plans or Individual Development Plans to help identify gaps and future training needs.
Research and identify available training internal and external to the Agency, the Competitive Professional Development Program (CPDP), the Competitive Academic Program (CAP), other training opportunities, and mandatory training as outlined in the applicable instructions or policies.
Develop various training syllabi following the Training and Development Syllabus structure
Review employees’ training records and ensure staff has all mandatory training as required
Provide senior management status reports with regard to staff training readiness as required
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance required
Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a Training Specialist within the J29, J2/5/8R environment training, coordination, development and presentations, to include establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives
