Deputy Project Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend planning meetings with government customers preparing for office moves.

  • Schedule and track work requests, while identifying project risk and establishing plans to resolve issues; assigns personnel to work schedule.

  • Monitor and analyze current and upcoming workload for surge conditions; alert government of surge demands.

  • Prepare and present reports to customers, and executives on historical workloads, statuses, and plans.

  • Collect, prepare and present, analysis based on workload and required manpower changes and equipment changes.

  • Supervise 15-30 laborers, truck drivers, and trucks working at multiple locations across the National Capitol Region performing office furniture and box moves between locations; ensure safety and welfare of personnel.

  • Oversee subcontract providing labor services and vehicle support.

  • Coordinate plans with internal and external Government agencies, employees, and subcontractors

  • Provide daily and weekly reports on workload data to the Program Manager.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain public trust and/or Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • 5 years of management and supervisory experience.

  • Prior military experience preferred.

  • Ability to travel throughout the National Capitol Region.

  • Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
