Summary

Cloud Lake Technology has a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned hands-on Technical Project Manager with Agile experience to join us supporting one of our current government customers! In this role, you will be responsible for providing project based advice and guidance to support personnel and clients, in support of cloud enablement, software development, and other related services through execution and management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage the delivery of client projects from inception through to the transition to Cloud-based solution.

  • Working on select client projects as the customer facing project manager frequently pairing with client project managers and other third party consultants/vendors.

  • Proactively liaise with customers to ensure their continued support with the project, whilst building strong stakeholder relationships across the client base.

  • Manage a team of technical SMEs to achieve a desired technical and business outcome and experience for the client in an Agile environment on time and within budget

  • Manage Project through their full life-cycle (receiving a customer request, writing a business case, feasibility studies, planning, stockholder management, delivery, testing and implementation)

  • Provide project governance for all ongoing projects and new projects (pipeline, project utilization, schedule, financial reporting and customer metrics)

  • Manage risk and issues: Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner

  • Facilitating constant communications, including arranging daily meetings with the team, morning meetings with the client and checking the backlog to ensure on-time completion of the project.

  • Provide day-to-day support in project planning, project management, reporting, risk and issue management, finance monitoring, client management, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent

  • PMP Certification. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) may substitute for the PMP certification.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required

  • Minimum of seven (7) years technical project management experience (Agile Software development, Cloud Migration)

  • Familiarity and experience working with Agile methodology

Desired Qualifications

  • Agile Certification

  • Five plus (5 ) years supporting complex IT/DevOps project (2) of which in a cloud environment.

  • Supporting heterogeneous environment (Windows, RedHat, and Ubuntu O/S) experience
