Description

The Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst shall provide support to counterintelligence (CI) support to the evaluation of damage to US national security from unauthorized disclosures of sensitive US information. The analyst will support the development of key intelligence questions, conduct research and analysis of large data sets, and develop reports on findings to a senior and executive level audience. The CI Analyst will coordinate efforts with members of the Intelligence Community (IC), US Government (USG,) and CI and Security communities to identify develop analytic requirements, conduct analysis and develop reports.

  • Provide senior-level analytic support to damage assessments.

  • Support the identification of key intelligence questions and analytic requirements.

  • Conduct and develop analysis and threat assessments; develop evaluation reports on mitigation, countermeasures and courses of actions.

  • Support IC Damage Assessment management, analytical, and technical meetings. Develop meeting agenda, minutes with action items, issue papers, briefings, and propose follow on activities.

  • Support outreach to the IC, Federal Partners, and to non-government and commercial entities involved in damage assessment activities.

  • Support development of a Damage Assessment training plan, secure approval, and conduct training for other analysts involved in the assessment.

  • Prepare analytical reports and publications, create graphics, and provide client ready material.

  • Responsible for the recording/editing/preparing minutes for a variety of meeting formats

  • Compile and develop briefing packets, to include proofreading, printing and modifying individual documents as needed and directed.

  • Provide oversight in the dissemination of documentation, correspondence, and other pertinent documents.

  • Support development and maintenance library of project artifacts

  • Coordinate analytic meetings, working groups and correspondence across multiple USG government agencies

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Minimum of 10 years of CI experience and/or US IC experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing and drafting interagency damage assessments.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic analysis and the ability to gather, analyze and portray data sets in a meaningful way

  • Minimum of 5 years of IC experience including three year of experience providing cross community coordination of analysis or analytical products.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in foreign intelligence analysis and experience obtained from multiple IC agencies

  • Must be capable of conducting independent research, as well as, work with team members and partner agencies.

  • Ability to develop analysis of alternatives for decision support.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Experience in developing executive-level reports and briefings.

  • Experience in using US Government, Intelligence Community, and commercial data sources

  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with graduate-level grammar, spelling, writing style, and presentation skills. Ability to prepare and present finished products without errors and in a timely manner.

Desired Qualifications

  • Analytical training from the Sherman Kent School’s Career Analyst Program curriculum or Advanced Analyst Program curriculum, or similar Intelligence Community educational curriculums.
