Job Summary:

Under general supervision, processes preventive maintenance (PM) work orders and associated documents from a variety of sources.Performs data entry and researches information in government provided automated management systems.

Essential Functions:

1.Receives, records, and distributes PM work orders to workers and/or supervisors.

2.Verifies and compares equipment description to quantities received.

3.Records required documentation on PM work order and reviews forms for proper preparation.

4.Responds to supervisor/foreman inquiries and provides current status of PM work order.

5.Processes PM work orders within Government standards to meet contract requirements.

6.Maintains and archives PM forms.

7.Compiles and records production data from such documents as PM work orders and individual work production sheets following prescribed recording procedures using computers and other devices.

8.Tracks work orders to identify PM work orders that can be scheduled and worked.

9.May prepare ad hoc reports for internal use for tracking PM work orders and status.

Performs other related duties as required.

Practices physical security and is committed to safety practices.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

High school graduate

EXPERIENCE:

Three years of work experience that demonstrates the ability to write, read, and comprehend written instructional documents, perform common mathematical tasks and communicate effectively.One year experience in preventive maintenance or in directly related area.

SKILLS:

General office skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English as well as understand and interpret military technical manuals, bulletins, and contract language.Must be able to perform tasks in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
