You will be joining a 30 member accounting team in a critical role delivering financial and accounting support services to the company’s operating Units. As one of the members of our Senior Accountant team, you will work with Unit managers and members of the Accounting team to provide weekly and monthly financial reporting.

Apply principles of accounting to process various transactions, responsible for ensuring all accounting data is processed in a timely manner each closing cycle. Completion of monthly reconciliations as needed. Attention to detail is critical for this position in order to ensure accurate accounting data.
Gathers, analyzes, compiles and summarizes project level transactions for accurate and timely recording in the company financial records.
Prepares accruals and general journal entries as appropriate.
Reconciles project level activity to the underlying documents to ensure transactions are consistent with the contract terms and conditions.
Reconciles project related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, including bank accounts.
Develops, manipulates and maintains accounting spreadsheets and assists in preparing monthly financial and operating reports.
Assists in the establishment and maintenance of accounting controls.
Independently and effectively works with Company operational staff and others to assure the proper and timely submission of a wide variety of accounting related materials.
Other duties may also be assigned.
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting required.
At least two (2) years of accounts receivables or accounts payable experience.
At least one (1) year of general ledger accounting experience.
Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must pass pre-employment requirements which include but are not limited to: drug test, physical assessment, criminal background check and credit history check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:These employees are regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. They must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The noise level is usually quiet.
