Strategic Outreach Principal
Lockwood Hills provides mission support services to federal agencies and the military. With expert capabilities across four service areas, Lockwood Hills facilitates some of the most demanding and critical missions in the world. Our work includes safeguarding vital installations and personnel, maintaining and modifying aircraft, keeping operations on track with integrated logistics, and driving business with records management and administrative support services.
This position is a key management position that oversees the quality planning and execution of all outreach efforts via consultation, guidance, and technical program management. It requires experience in planning and execution of an outreach communication strategy; public communications; communications media; web presence; webinar design and execution; strategic planning; oversight and execution of workshops, communities of practice and events. This position also directly involves engagement and experience with DoD / Government senior leader briefings and related communications and experience with international governmental bodies, (e.g. NATO).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of all lines of effort regarding:
Strategic Messaging—create and execute a strategic communication plan including consistent and effective messaging (both explicit and tactical). This involves creation and monitoring of ADL Strategic Plan, Design media for and support of dissemination of ADL messaging, encouraging consistent, high quality ADL messaging, and maintaining a knowledge base of ADL history and achievements
Facilitating Adoption—facilitate early adoption of ADL innovations by easing implementation and providing customer support. This involves design, development and execution of technical workshops and related events, coordination and implementation of ADL standards
Building Community—Foster an active, collaborative community around ADL priorities, and sustain the community through leadership and customer service. This involves fostering and collaboration within the DoD network, nurturing the ADL Global Partnership Network with an aim towards value add and building and help managing ADL communities of practice
10 years of experience in program development and management, training and education programs, research operations, analysis, and consultation.
Proven ability to interact and formally brief at the GO/FO/SES level in the Department of Defense.
Demonstrated collaborative and persuasive skills to build and achieve established objectives and goals.
Proven skills and ability to network with, and influence, key personnel both internally and externally to achieve program milestones.
Documented creative, effective leader and team player with a high degree of professionalism.
Reputable collaborator with well-developed communication skills, and interpersonal understanding that has facilitated success within varied organizations.
Doctorate Degree, published author, public speaker, and strategic planner
